Moldflow®analysis Moldflow® is an advanced piece of software which can simulate form filling. Moldflow® can optimise strength, thickness, geometry, and cycle times for conventional and technical components. Moldflow® can provide quick analyses of the filling process and optimise gate type, size and location. Moldflow® can identify air traps, shrinkage and meld lines. With Moldflow® it is possible to compare what impact any modification of thickness, gate location, choice of material, and component geometry will have on temperature and pressure in the filling process. To put it short: It is now possible to determine with greater security whether it is possible to mould the component at all. In connection with new projects, Molytex A/S will offer to make flow analyses in connection with product optimisation of new components. Molytex A/S also offers to carry out Moldflow®analyses on a consultancy basis. Most CAD applications can deliver drawings in STL format which is required for analysis purposes.
